| Quality of Service | QoS is the ability to provide different priorities to different applications, users, or data flows, or to guarantee a certain level of performance to a data flow. QoS involves prioritisation of Network traffic. QoS can be targeted at a Network interface, toward a given server or router’s performance, or in terms of specific applications. A Network monitoring system must typically be deployed as part of QoS, to ensure that Networks are performing at the desired level. |
