The Exponential-e Sales Academy

Exponential-e runs an annual tailored recruitment programme to hire ambitious, industrious and aspirational people looking for an opportunity to forge a career in sales and break into a specialised and competitive industry.

What can you expect?

All successful applicants to the Sales Academy complete an eight week training programme, comprised of classroom style sessions, on-the-job learning and training delivered by external trainers and our experienced Sales Mangers. Learning is focused on the following areas:

  • Exponential-e products, history, workings and methodologies

The Sales process, to include:

    • Lead generation
    • Research & qualifying leads
    • Cold calling
    • Objection handling
    • Appointments
    • Presentations
    • Negotiation
    • Closing the deal

Throughout the training period, individuals will take part in a number of assessments and competitions to ensure they are able to understand and utilise what they have learnt.  After successfully completing the training programme candidates will become a permanent Sales Consultant for our Direct Sales team.

You will be rewarded for your enthusiasm, commitment and hunger with fantastic earning potential, unrivalled training and the support of an inspirational management team.

What we are looking for

We are seeking highly competitive individuals with a genuine desire to be the best.  You will need to be computer literate with a confident articulate telephone manner.  No previous experience is required, your ambition is the most important criterion for success and you must be able to demonstrate a natural aptitude for sales.

Technical Trainees

At regular intervals throughout the year Exponential-e run recruitment programmes to hire innovative graduates who are passionate about technology.  If you’re looking to start your career in technology, Exponential-e provides the perfect environment to grow and learn. We currently offer entry level roles in the following technical business areas:

Network Operations Centre (NOC)

The Exponential-e NOC is operational 24/7, 365 days a year and proactively monitor the performance our customer networks, from end-to-end, to predict problems in advance and inform customers in good time.   The NOC are the first point of contact for customers with any network issues; diagnosing and troubleshooting the problem and tracking the issue through to resolution.

Pre Sales

The Pre Sales team design network solutions based upon customer requirements and present these solutions to the potential client.  Pre Sales act as the technical authority on solutions for our customers.  The team are part of the engineering department but work closely with the sales teams. 

Solutions Delivery

The Solution Delivery team are responsible for the implementation of customer solutions.  The team must forge a close working relationship with the customer on a technical level in order to achieve the objectives of the solution and to ensure the successful delivery of the project.  The Solution Delivery team work closely with the assigned project managers. 

Network Management Systems (NMS)

The NMS team are responsible for the development, deployment and administration of the back end systems that enable our network to function.  The department provide support for the company's internal and external Network Management systems.  The team are involved in project based work as well as the everyday tasks associated with management of the Exponential-e network.

What we are looking for

Successful candidates will have a degree or equivalent qualification in an IT-related subject, preferably with a focus on networking. Previous experience is not required but you must be able to demonstrate your knowledge and passion about computers and networking. You will be a customer focused, team player with excellent communication skills. If you are keen to take on responsibility from day one, we want to hear from you.
