Sir Jeremy will address modern cyber security in the age of AI, examining how artificial intelligence is reshaping both the threat landscape and defensive capabilities. Drawing on his experience leading GCHQ, he will discuss how AI changes the nature of cyber risk, the importance of preventative action and resilience, and what organisations must do to operate securely and responsibly as AI becomes embedded across critical systems and infrastructure.
Air Marshall Ed Stringer offers a military perspective on these challenges, arguing for a military-grade approach to security and resilience for our nation's critical services. Edward is recently retired 3* RAF officer whose early years were spent as a fast-jet pilot, but whose later career in higher command positions saw him specialise in defence policy, the command and management of military operations, and, based in the Ministry of Defence, cross-government coordination on a range of portfolios.
