Connectivity

Connectivity

Our business connectivity portfolio will meet the need of any organisation, large or small, regardless of their number and type of office.

We provide powerful, scalable and highly reliable networking at aggressive prices to meet any operational need and budget parameters. Once connected to our next-generation network, we’ll overlay our base infrastructure with our easy-to-use Ethernet interface from which a multitude of services can be supported and managed. That’s when we turn basic connectivity building blocks into your private bespoke WAN.

Connectivity to meet all needs

The mainstay of our connectivity portfolio (which we call PowerAccess) is a high-bandwidth, dedicated and fibre-based circuit providing bandwidth in granular increments up to 1Gbps. We also offer Ethernet connections over copper E1 lines for bandwidths up to 4Mbps and xDSL services as backup or for simple site solutions. Alternatively, if you’re looking to connect onto our network from a data centre (in which you already have equipment) the chances are we are there too - in which case our cross-connect service is the one for you.

Circuit resiliency

We can provide you with a backup circuit running parallel to the primary connection to provide you with even more peace of mind. This can connect into our network at the same point as the primary circuit or an entirely different one for even further protection. We can even use different local tail providers for each of the two circuits to make your network truly diverse and with no single point of failure.

Diverse Network

End-to-end visibility

When we build your network we include our Ethernet Demarcation Device (EDD) as standard. The EDD is a device that sits on the customer premise and allows us to deliver end-to-end Quality of Service on all of our circuits. It enables both the customer and Exponential-e to have full visibility of the circuit and monitor it 24/7. As a result, any faults that occur can be proactively located and fixed promptly before any disruption to daily activities occurs.

The EDD also performs many leading edge functions that extend next-generation features down to the customer premise. It can allow for different services to be presented on separate Ethernet ports, maintaining secure separation of each Layer 2 service. The EDD performs per-vLAN bandwidth management, multiple QoS classifications and even execute Q-in-Q vLAN stacking.

Benefits

  • Connectivity options from 2 to 1,000Mbps in 2Mbps increments to suit any need.
  • Strict service level guarantees up to 99.997% for your peace of mind.
  • Flexible bandwidth according to periodic business need, so you only pay for what you require at any one time.
  • Multiple vLANs support converged services which reduces overhead and support costs.
  • Advanced fault-finding and end-to-end QoS to deliver unmatched service excellence.
  • Protocol agnostic, so it supports a range of services and applications.
  • 24x7 monitoring and support.
  • Robust service with full resiliency and redundancy options.
