28 September 2007, London, UNITED KINGDOM

The Sunday Times in association with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC) has announced that Exponential-e's – the Uk's leading Next Generation Network (NGN) service provider – has achieved a listing at number 78 in its Tech Track 100 league table as one of the UK's fastest growing technology companies. Exponential-e's qualified for this position by establishing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of audited revenues over the past three years of 63.54%. (See www.fasttrack.co.uk for 2007 league table) Exponential-e's opened for business in September 2002, coming to market with their Pure Ethernet offering. Since then, the company has extended its reach to offer Ethernet connectivity UK-wide and, where available, internationally.

Today, the company has fully upgraded to a NGN – a Carrier Class Gigabit Ethernet network that enables premium access to the Internet and high-speed, cost-effective connectivity. Its state-of-the-art VPLS design offers a fully-meshed layer 2 MPLS switched Ethernet core, so capacity, resiliency and flexibility are built-in.

"Our rapid growth is fuelled by our strategic focus on applied innovation and service excellence" says Lee Wade, Managing Director at Exponential-e's. "These are the foundations upon which we have built the company and have kept Exponential-e's at the forefront of networking technology, winning us a loyal and enviable blue-chip customer-base"

Exponential-e's plans for 2008 include further expansion of their NGN network, both in the UK and internationally and the establishment of the Exponential-e Academy. "Our investments have always been in people and technology. We see the Academy as offering young people the opportunity to learn innovative networking technologies and service excellence from the UK's leading network innovator. It will be a 'no compromise' school of excellence that will help Exponential-e continue the growth rates we have achieved in the past," comments Mukesh Bavisi, Engineering Director at Exponential-e.
