Greg Day - Vice President and Regional Chief Security Officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa Palo Alto Networks.
Greg Day is vice president and regional chief security officer, EMEA, at Palo Alto Networks. In this role he oversees Palo Alto Networks regional security operations and is responsible for regional cybersecurity strategy and the development of threat intelligence, security best practices and thought leadership for Palo Alto Networks in EMEA.
With 25 years’ experience in the area of digital security, Greg has helped organisations, large and small and across the public and private sector, to understand risk posture and put in place strategies to manage it. He is widely acknowledged as an industry thought leader and experienced practitioner, capable of translating technology challenges into actionable business solutions.
Greg began his career with Dr Solomon’s, later part of McAfee (now Intel Security) as a technical support analyst, and in a career that spanned 20 years he held a number of positions including information security consultant, global best practices team leader, security analyst and director of security strategy. During this time, he led a range of initiatives to support customers, partners and sales teams, authored a number of papers on topics across the security landscape, directed key cybersecurity initiatives and provided guidance to governments and malware forensics training to law enforcement authorities. At Symantec he held the post of Security CTO for EMEA, managing a team of security strategists and driving Symantec’s regional cybersecurity strategy. Most recently as VP and CTO EMEA at FireEye, he was responsible for technology strategy and thought leadership.
Greg currently sits on the UK National Crime Agency steering committee, the UK-CERT/CISP advisory team and the VFORUM research community, having formerly held the position of vice chair of the techUK cyber security group. He has been part of the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime and has participated in a number of industry and advisory groups. He is widely acknowledged as an industry thought leader and is a familiar face at many cybersecurity events, as a regular on the speaker circuit and has also been an active media spokesperson across much of the EMEA region.
Greg holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth.
Paulo Rodrigues - Systems Engineering Director, Fortinet.
Paulo is currently the Systems Engineering Director at Fortinet. He has been in the industry for over 30 years and in that time has gained experience as an end user, a service integrator and crossed over to the vendor world, having worked for Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks and now Fortinet.
Working across these diverse environments and plethora of technologies has given him a unique insight into the security challenges faced by organisations which he uses to help his customer develop robust security architectures. Paulo is still very much an engineer and can regularly be found working alongside his SE’s in the labs and customer Proof of Concepts.
Jason Hart - CTO, Gemalto.
Jason has held senior positions within a number of organizations, including Ernst & Young’s Information Security Assurance and Advisory Services practice, CEO of WhiteHat and Cryptocard. Clients have included NHS,
Governments, as well as a large number of FTSE 100 organizations, for whom Jason has created and developed entire security frameworks as well as Information Security Assessment Methodologies. In addition Jason regularly provides advice and guidance to Governments, Law Enforcement and Military agencies on Information Security matters globally and is Vice Chairman for E-Crime Wales and advisor to a number of information Tech start ups.
Tony Rowan - Director, Solutions Architect - SentinelOne.
Tony Rowan is the Director, Solutions Architect in EMEA for SentinelOne and has worked within the security industry for more than twenty years. Graduating as a software engineer, he has worked in many parts of the supply chain including bespoke software developments, large research projects, security architecture across many enterprise segments and the defence industry. At SentinelOne Tony is responsible for raising the awareness of SentinelOne across EMEA whilst bringing his wide experience to ensure that the product and service that SentinelOne offers is tuned to the ongoing and future needs of their customers
