Scalable bandwidth

  • Enterprises are no longer restricted to buying bulk bandwidth but can buy exactly what they need. Furthermore bandwidth can be flexibly allocated between services at keystrokes

Reduced access circuits

  • True convergence means there is no need to pay for multiple access circuits (i.e E1 PRI for voice; E1 FR for LAN interconnect; Fractional e1 for DIA)

Retain routing control

  • There is no need to hand over routing decisions to a service provider as the core network is built using layer 2 domains and MAC addresses with IP routing functionality, if required, provided at the edge.
