Direct Sales Consultants - Reading

The Role

We are currently recruiting for Sales Consultants within Reading office. We require sales consultants of various levels of experience; the roles and responsibilities are similar however the expectations of experience and skill sets differ accordingly.

You will be responsible for securing new name business in the corporate sector whilst increasing revenues in line with set targets. This objective is underpinned by the need to provide customers with significant commercial advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • To sell wide area data services into the mid and corporate market
  • To target key verticals and advantageous geographic areas
  • To plan Sales strategies and work closely with marketing to raise awareness of the company and build a strong pipeline
  • To competently and knowledgably advise clients on Network solutions and services that best fulfil their requirements, undergoing full assessment and analysis of client needs
  • Negotiate pricing with clients to achieve sales inline with the company’s pricing policies and client requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

  • New Business sales either direct or possibly telesales.
  • Experience in the alternate provider market.
  • Solid telecoms and IT knowledge, preferably data and LAN literate with experience of Internet network technologies.
  • Knowledge of the telecoms marketplace and technological trends that are changing the way businesses work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to 'win trust', selling on the quality and integrity of the business.
  • Must be self motivated and able to work under own 'steam'.
