“Before joining Exponential-e I graduated with an Engineering degree but had limited experience. I was given an opportunity by Exponential-e towards the end of 2006, my role involved working as a NOC engineer providing 1st line support for customers.

Since then I have seen the company change considerably. The company staff has more than doubled, as has the number of customers. The growth and ambition of the company has provided me with an opportunity to further my career with my role now requiring me to provide 2nd line support and working closely with the service delivery team.

A major factor in my development within the company has been due to the close knit structure of the teams. Opportunity is always given to work closely and learn from not only those within your team but also from those more experienced. There is also a vast amount of resources available for self-study, from documentation of bespoke solutions to reproducing the network design in the lab.

The best part of the job is that every day is different. The solutions which we provide are bespoke and therefore every customer network offers a different challenge.
