Exponential-e Next Generation Networks Provider

Exponential-e is looking for client facing and commercially astute individuals to join the Pre-Sales team in our London office. This is an exciting and challenging role and is at the heart of both the client facing and engineering operations of the business. You will be providing Presales support internally and externally to account managers working on sales projects.

You will be expected to work as a team player with the Pre Sales Team Leader to assist in the smooth running of the department. You will receive a high level of support from the engineering department and will closely interact with the engineers during the design stage of new solutions.

Key responsibilities for this job:

To engage with Sales Account Managers at the early stage of pre sales cycle
To attend pre sales meetings with Sales Account Managers
To participate in pre sales conference calls when required
Generally to work very closely with the Account Managers to respond to tenders
Pre sales design of technical bespoke solutions
Management of pre sales ticketing system, used to create and track solution documents outlining the final and agreed design
Close working relationship with the engineering department in order to validate proposed designs and solutions
To answer any general pre sales queries for purposes of budgetary pricing.

Essential Skills/Experience

A significant background in Telecoms
Experience within a pre-sales environment, you must be confident within a client facing role giving presentations and holding conference calls
Good design/architecture skills
Knowledge of networking including MPLS, IP Addressing, and routing protocols
Previous hands on technical experience is key to this role
Any exposure to VPLS, VRRP, IGP, BGP or Alcatel Lucent would be advantageous.
