NOC Engineer (Network Operations Centre)

Experienced Network Support Engineer required for our London office.   As part of the support team your primary responsibility will be the day to day running of Network Operations Centre (NOC) and client support. 

Key responsibilities

  • First line support handling customer enquiries and support issues using our ticketing system
  • Proactive network monitoring of alarms and traps
  • Troubleshooting customer faults and working with carriers to achieve fault resolution
  • Working with carriers to achieve fault resolution
  • Ensure issues are handled effectively and SLA’s are not breached
  • Escalation of faults/outages as and when required

Candidate requirements

  • CCNA certified
  • Experience working within a customer focussed network support role
  • General Internetworking, TCP/IP principles & DNS
  • Ability to own customer escalations or complaints whilst setting the customers expectation and focusing on KPI’s
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner
  • Work effectively under pressure

Hours of work: 24/7 shift work basis
