Founded in 2002, Exponential-e defined its mission to address three specific areas that the UK telecoms sector had failed to deliver to UK businesses.
Network Service Excellence
By this we mean superfast, low latency and highly resilient uptime to deliver non-stop computing and communications. We are serious about the importance of business uptime and set about designing and building the UK’s most resilient, industrial-strength network that would meet all the demands of businesses that were also serious about uptime. Today, we remain one of the few service providers that will not carry consumer broadband traffic on our carrier network. This will distort our network’s performance profile which may impact performance for our clients.
Customer Service Excellence
We introduced our ‘Customer Served 1st’ practice in 2003. This is a high-touch business-class professionalism we seek to deliver to all of our clients. From your first contact with Exponential-e through to the design of your network requirements, provisioning, project management and on-going support, we offer old fashioned first class quality of service. Our processes are captured and continually monitored by ISO 9001, 27001 and 20000. Indeed, we have our own Training Academy where we impart the values of our premium business class service and this is centred upon PRIDE ie. we expect all Exponential-e personnel to take ‘Personal Responsibility In Delivering Excellence’. This is the foundation principle of the customer service you will receive from Exponential-e. In October 2010, our customer survey reported that 90% of our customers would recommend Exponential-e, which we feel is testament to our great service. However, we will not rest on our laurels; we are aiming to improve on this.
Applied Innovation
Because of the oligopolistic structure of the UK telecoms sector, we believe UK companies were not being served well at all compared to US counterparts in the realm of services and network innovation. Hence, we have led the UK with our approach defined by ‘Applied Innovation’ and ‘Dynamic Disruption’.
